How to install Microsoft 365 Software

This article contains step by step instructions for installing Microsoft 365 applications using your GCSU account. The linked video will SHOW you how to install the applications on your device. Once you have logged into the Microsoft apps portal, you will use the instructions beginning at time marker 1:05.

Please note:  As a student, faculty and staff member of GCSU you are allowed up to five installations of MS office 365 apps on your personal devices.

 

Steps to Install

• Go to the official Microsoft 365 Apps Portal.
• Sign in with your GCSU Bobcats email account which is linked to your subscription.
• Click Install apps floationg on the page.
• Click Install apps in the top corner.
• Open the downloaded setup file from your computer's Downloads folder.
• Follow the on-screen prompts and click Yes to allow the changes.
• Wait a few minutes for the installation to finish, then click Close.
• Open any app like Word or Excel and sign in to activate your license
