How to Install SPSS on Windows
- Go to your Downloads folder and find the SPSS installer file (.exe).
- Right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
- Click Next on the welcome screen.
- Accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next.
- Keep the default destination folder and click Next.
- Click Install and wait for the process to finish, then click Finish
How to Install SPSS on macOS
- Open the downloaded
.pkg or installer file.
(If stopped by system security settings, open your System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.)
- Follow the on-screen steps, click Continue, and Agree to the Software License Agreement.
- Select your main hard drive, click Install, and enter your Mac's password or use TouchID to authorize the installation.
- Click Close when the setup completes.
Activate the Software
- Launch IBM SPSS Statistics from your desktop shortcut, start menu, or Applications folder.
- You are using a University/Authorized License:
- Click Launch License Wizard when prompted.
- Select Authorized user license,
- click Next, paste your institutional activation code, and hit Add and Finish
