What is it?
Google AI Pro for Education integrates advanced generative AI into the academic ecosystem through two powerful, synergistic tools: Gemini and Gemini Notebook (powered by NotebookLM). The Gemini app acts as a versatile virtual assistant that helps educators streamline workflows, generate dynamic lesson materials, and empower students with personalized support, all while backed by enterprise-grade data protection. Complementing this, Gemini Notebook serves as an intelligent research and note-taking hub where users can upload curriculum documents, PDFs, or media to instantly synthesize information, trace in-line citations, and convert complex text into engaging, podcast-style Audio Overviews.
Who is eligible to use it?
All enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff.
How much does it cost?
Through an enterprise agreement with Google, Google AI Pro for Education licenses are available to all current Georgia College & State University employees and students at no cost.
How can I get it?
To request a Google AI Pro for Education account, eligible users need only click the "Request a License" link on this page and submit the form on the following page.
How do I use it?
Once your Google AI Pro for Education account has been created, navigate to https://google.gcsu.edu and log into your account using your MyGCSU Single Sign-on (SSO) account - the same account used to access your GCSU email.
